FAQ
Does my app or data leave my computer?
No. Automation runs on your machine. Your screens and app data only reach our servers if you turn on test uploads, CI Live View or an iOS simulator on a CI runner. Otherwise MobAI only contacts our servers for license checks and updates, and webhooks go straight to the address you set. If you use the built-in agent with a cloud AI provider, the data it needs goes directly to that provider.
Which agents work with MobAI?
Any agent that supports MCP, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and Cline. MCP is built into the app. MobAI also has its own built-in agent.
Do I need a Mac?
Not for everything. The desktop app runs on macOS, Windows and Linux. iOS simulators need macOS. To build and ship iOS without a Mac, see iOS without a Mac or Cloud agents.
Can I keep my Maestro tests?
Yes. Most Maestro YAML flows run without changes, locally and in CI, including on a physical iPhone from macOS, Linux or Windows.
What counts as one device?
One active device connection at a time. You can stop it and switch to another phone or simulator whenever you like. On Guest and Free they just don't run in parallel.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Subscription in the MobAI app, from the link in your payment receipt, or by email. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period isn't refunded. In the EU, you can withdraw from your first paid subscription within 14 days for a full refund.
